Perseids And Pigs

Last night, the Cavegirl and I headed out to Lake Sherwood for a Ninja session under the stars. Our goal was to catch fish, as well as the Perseid meteor shower that was supposed to be one of the most prolific of the year. Fortunately, the fishing was much more active than the sky show, as we “caught” only six “shooting stars”, while we were able to land 11 fat fish in the 3 to 4 pound class. Our sack was topped by this hefty 4.5 pounder. All fish were caught on either buzzbaits or the Gambler Lures Fat Ace in Xmas – one of the best nighttime colors out there!
As you can see, the Cavegirl is becoming quite the fishing photographer. Now, if I can just teach her to lip the fish for me! 😆
