2013 ICAST Eye Catcher: Persuader Rattlin’ Blade Spinner Bait

Being the fortunate Neanderthal I am, at ICAST 2013 I was able to see many of the new products the fishing industry has in store for us anglers in the near future. The “ICAST Eye Catcher” series features many of the most innovative and interesting of those new offerings. So, for those of you who couldn’t attend, enjoy!

Persuader Rattlin' Blade Spinner Bait
Some of the most interesting bladed baits out there are made by a small California company named Persuader American Angling. Now, they are adding an intriguing new offering to their unique line of spinner baits. The Persuader Rattlin’ Blade Spinner Bait has some of the usual features, like painted jigheads, realistic eyes, and dual willow blades. But, then, they put it on steroids by adding a diamond pattern to both blades, which creates more turbulence in the water. Plus, on the larger blade, there is an eight-sided brass chamber filled with rattling beads. Both of which help call in the fish with enhanced sound and vibration. Further, each bait is adorned with a Pro-Tie skirt that sports extended tails, negating the need to add a trailer. The Rattlin’ Blade comes in two sizes (3/8 oz. & 1/2 oz.) and six patterns (white, chartreuse/white, black/red, orange, shad, bluegill) and should be available before the end of the year. MSRP $7.59
