2013 ICAST Eye Catcher: Lucky Craft S.K.T. Magnum

Being the fortunate Neanderthal I am, at ICAST 2013 I was able to see many of the new products the fishing industry has in store for us anglers in the near future. The “ICAST Eye Catcher” series features many of the most innovative and interesting of those new offerings. So, for those of you who couldn’t attend, enjoy!

Lucky Craft S.K.T. Magnum
If you subscribe to the notion that bigger baits catch bigger fish, then you’ll want to check out the Skeet Reese designed Lucky Craft S.K.T. Magnum crankbaits. These husky hard baits are specifically sized to match the prey bigger fish feed on: big Shad, Bluegill, Crappie, and Perch. The wobble on the lure is supposed to be incredibly tight which both entices strikes from the larger types and helps minimize pull to lessen the fatigue factor baits of this size can induce. Lucky Craft is offering two models to choose from, the 14-foot diver “Mag MR” (2 oz.) and 25-footer “Mag DR” (3.25 oz.), to go along with several fish attracting color patterns including Chartreuse Shad, Ghost Baby Bluegill, Ghost Minnow, and Pearl Threadfin. Available now. MSRP $19.99-$20.99
