2013 ICAST Eye Catcher: Wild River Nomad XP

Being the fortunate Neanderthal I am, at ICAST 2013 I was able to see many of the new products the fishing industry has in store for us anglers in the near future. The “ICAST Eye Catcher” series features many of the most innovative and interesting of those new offerings. So, for those of you who couldn’t attend, enjoy!

2013 ICAST Eye Catcher - Wild River Nomad XP
How the Wild River Nomad XP by Custom LeatherCraft did not win the overall ICAST 2013 Best Of Show, let alone the award in the Tackle Management category, is beyond belief! This may be the most advanced, modern tackle bag ever created. Aside from the fact that this medium-sized backpack-style hauler can carry up to SIX 3600 series boxes, plus an extra FOUR 3500 series trays, and all kinds of additional storage pockets, it contains features not seen anywhere else. From the pliers holder with a built-in recoiling lanyard clip, to the 3-level LED lighting system, to the AC/DC (or optional solar-panel-powered) USB charging system for all of your electronic devices, this tackle bag is designed to keep you on the water longer and better prepared. Add the non-corrosive hardware and the 5 base pads to the mix, and this bag will serve you well in both fresh and salt water for years to come. Can’t wait to get the Wild River Nomad XP out for a field test! Expected arrival is Spring 2014. MSRP $199
